Salla, Shopify or WooCommerce: which one fits your store?

There is no best store platform. There is the one that fits your market, the way your buyers pay, and how much of the store you want to run yourself.
Salla
Salla is a hosted store platform built for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf. It is Arabic first, and you run everything from its store admin. It suits a store whose buyers are in the region and who expect the payment and delivery options they already use there.
Shopify
Shopify is also hosted, and it is built for selling anywhere. It has a large library of themes and apps. It suits a store that sells across countries, or one that plans to.
WooCommerce
WooCommerce is a store that lives inside a WordPress site, on hosting you control. It gives the most freedom over how the store looks and works, and the store sits beside your pages and blog in one place. In return there is more to look after: hosting, updates and backups.
How to decide
Start from the buyer, not the platform. Where are they, and how do they pay? Then ask how much you want to manage yourself. If the answer is "as little as possible", a hosted platform is the safer choice. If you need the store to behave in a way no ready-made platform allows, that is when WooCommerce or custom code earns its extra upkeep.
What stays the same
Whichever one you choose, the store should be designed before it is built, and handed over so that products, prices, text and images are yours to change. That is how I work on all three: the design is drawn in Figma first, and you approve it before the build.
