Snapchat ads in Saudi Arabia: landing page or straight to your store?

If you run Snapchat ads in Saudi Arabia, the ad is only half the work. The other half is the page that opens when someone swipes up, and the choice is usually between a dedicated landing page and sending people straight into your store.

Why does the page after the ad matter so much?

Someone who taps a Snapchat ad is on a phone, in the middle of watching something else, with little patience. If the page loads slowly, looks different from the ad, or asks them to search for the product, they close it and the click is wasted. The ad earns attention for a few seconds; the page has to turn that attention into an order or a message.

When does sending people to the store work?

Sending the click straight to a product page works when the ad shows one product, the price is clear, and the buyer already understands what it is. The product page then needs large photos, a short description, visible delivery and payment details, and an add to cart button that is easy to reach with a thumb. If the ad promotes a category or a sale, link to that category, not to the home page.

When is a landing page the better choice?

A landing page fits when the offer needs explaining: a bundle, a new product people do not know yet, a service, a booking or a lead you want to collect. It holds one message, one offer and one action, without the menus and links that pull a visitor away inside a full store. It also lets you match the words and look of the ad exactly, which helps the visitor feel they arrived in the right place.

What must either page get right on a phone?

Whichever you choose, test it on a phone before the campaign starts. The page should open fast, the first screen should repeat the promise of the ad, and the next step should be visible without a long scroll. Make sure tracking is installed so you can see which ad led to which order, and that WhatsApp or checkout works from the same page. Fix these before spending on the ads.

How do you decide for your campaign?

Start with the simplest path that answers what the buyer needs to know. A well-known product with a clear price can go straight to the store. A new offer, a bundle or a service usually deserves its own page. If you are not sure, run both with the same ad for a short period and keep the one that brings more orders or messages.

How I handle it

I build stores on Salla, Shopify and WooCommerce, and landing pages for campaigns, so I usually ask about the ad before I design the page it leads to. Every design is made in Figma and approved before the build, you can edit texts and offers yourself afterwards, and support lasts 180 days from launch. Tell me what you plan to advertise and I will suggest where the click should land.
